Hey guys, and girls? I suspect

Just yesterday (at least i think it was yesterday i didn’t check the date), our friend Nils left me a comment on the Stylish Button tutorial, making a very useful comment. (Aww no all you guy’s comments are great thank you!)

To give this news a bit of depth, we’ll just say what. So he noticed that there was something missing in the tutorial. Not that important some say, but for a perftionist like me (at least i think i am, now that i left that mistake in i begin to ponder) it is a vital step to add the final touch of realism.

Indeed, i forgot to mention that you needed to Flip the reflection vertically before moving it under the button. So basically what you had was a reflection yes, but not a correct one.

If you had a go at this tutorial before and totally zapped that part, and were not happy by the result because the reflection looked kinda funny, and not like mine in the screenshots, then have a go again! (I fixed it now!)

This is all to say that i appreciate comments like that too, don’t fear of posting a comment if you think something is wrong with the tutorial! I had several comments before Nils and they didn’t mention the missing step! Maybe you just didn’t notice, that’s okay! So yeah, be sure to leave me a comment if anything’s missing or wrong in a tutorial!

It’s that i re-do the graphic while typing the tutorial so that i can capture the different steps for the screenshot, and sometimes i might miss out some little steps like that! Because let’s face it was a very small step, which i did without thinking (and thus not writing it!) but i bet it has quite a big effect on the outcome graphic.

Edit (26/10): Oh dear, looks like there might be some other errors in the tutorials! Thanks to Chris for posting a comment mentioning a little mistake with the colour of a stroke on the Design Layout tutorial! (#E1E1E1 instead of #1E1E1E)

Sometimes, i really get enthusiastic and start doing something and then keep on doing it for several days.

For example, write a tutorial, gets myself into a Photo-tastic mood and i start creating everything i can think, surfing around Photoshop related websites and what not. Those are the good days, those are the days which are productive. And actually that’s when you can expect a tutorial to be uploaded, or the next day.

But, because there’s always a but? I can be quite a procrastinator. Leaving things i’m supposed to do to a date which is not set, and maybe far away. Those are the times where i’ll have something else on my mind and won’t be doing what i said i’d do. But fear not, i will put myself to it like i said. It takes an hour or less for me to get into a productive mood again, don’t worry

So you should be expecting some tutorials within the next days hopefully. You’re probably not reading this, but it is a sign to shown that i am actively keeping track of the website, just not writing
Tutorials will be uploaded to Tutorial Directories like usual, definitely on Good Tutorials, not sure about the others i haven’t got much traffic from them. So watch out for Soushi tuts on GT.

Hey there, this is an official welcome to Soushi!

Soushi is a new website created to deliver you Free Adobe Photoshop Tutorials. For you to learn, experiment and create.

I’ve been working on the site for quite a few months now, i’ve not always been working on it every day though i admit

There’s not that many tutorials on the website as of yet, but i am working to get more on of course. I don’t want to say now that i’ll “post one tutorial a day” or anything like that.
Doing so would put me under even more pressure, and i’d be releasing some really bad tutorials just for the sake of releasing one!

So just check back from time to time to see if there’s a new tutorial that’s been added. You’ll also find most of the tutorials on index websites such as Good-Tutorials and such.

Well, that’s all for now! You’ll find me working on uploading some new tutorials and what not. Feel free to browse around the site, make yourself at home haha
